Growing the brewery

On May 17, 2018, the very first beer was poured into the tanks here at our new location in Greve, just outside Copenhagen. Today marks the first 6 months of operation for Alefarm Brewing.

It has been 6 months full of experiences, 6 months defined by hard work and 6 months with late nights, early mornings and great persistence, all mixed together in a cocktail that made for an intensive start for us. We hit the ground running.

Building a brewery is a tremendous effort. Stainless steel is expensive, expectations are high and competition is fierce.ย It requires for constant innovation, improving and refining the product, sometimes failing and sometimes winning -ย and always learning.

During the first 6 months of operation, we have expanded our range of beers with many new styles, brewing more than 40 different beers in total. That's roughly one new beer every third day of operation, a throughput that made it possible for us to explore our visual identity with many colorful label concepts and designs.

I'd like to say a profound thank you to everyone who has bought our beers. Thank you for supporting us, for taking part in the project and for enjoying our beers. It means the world to us - we are deeply grateful.

Today marks the first 6 months of operation for Alefarm Brewing. It's a journey that we have only just embarked upon. We are thrilled and excited for the many adventures to come. Cheers!
