Across Waters (IPA)

In May, we had the pleasure of brewing a collaboration beer with our dear friends from Seven Island Brewery. Today, we are happy to unveil the result of our work, Across Waters!

Our goal was to brew a tart IPA at 6% ABV with a twist that was not reliant on bacteria for its zing. Together, we formulated a recipe for a beer that was to highlight sea buckthorn layered over an oat heavy grist with an addition of lactose to emphasize the silken and creamy base beer.

Alongside the zippy and tangy fruit, we dry-hopped this beer with a blend of Citra and Ekuanot to accentuate the fresh citrus fruit qualities brought on by the lower finishing pH.

Across Waters is a really refreshing beer that features yet another stunning label design brought to life in vivid colors by our very own Dan Johnstone.
